this took so long and has so many layers i don't even want to think about it.
but y'know what?
I HAD A TON OF FUN COLORING THIS. And that's what counts, yeah? :'D
This is the finished(?) product of that WIP I uploaded earlier today. Since I just about made him explode himself in that comic I uploaded a few days ago, I felt that Kimblee deserved some more serious fanartz. 'Cuz he is admittedly a very badass villain. Psycho, but badass.
....... Probably the most digital shading i've ever done ever. and i don't even know what the hell's going on here; there's light sources everywhere. /shot
Basically this entire thing was an experiment for me in like... everything. Shading, composition, pose, drawing a human, getting his suit to look right, etc etc.
If you can excuse the weird lighting/shading, i really hope you guys enjoy; i worked uber hard on this 'un.

When I saw this in my messages, I honestly kind of freaked out a little. Sure, it's partly because I'm a total fangirl (*hates self*), but also because it's just so well done!
I really, really like the shading. I like that you had multiple light sources, actually. It makes the scene seem more... chaotic (not sure if that's the word I'm looking for, but I'm going with it). I also really like his coat. The tatters in it are very detailed. And his hair is just gorgeous.
