Warning: This deviation deals with a very mature topic and is NOT appropriate for younger audiences! I do hope I don't offend anyone with this (except rapists) and if I do say something offensive here, please let me know what I did wrong!Certain porn, fanfictions, stories, movies and music have all attempted to lead people to the conclusion that women (and sometimes they claim this for men as well) enjoy rape, and that "No" really means "Yes".
Plus, it seems some people are actually believing it.
Well, I'll tell you this, the idea that the victim of a rape enjoys it is trash.
1: Rape is not fun.
No one, let me repeat, no one enjoys being raped. Rape is always physically and mentally damaging to the victim. Sex was meant to be between two consenting individuals. Rape is an abuse of sex, and since it's not how it was meant to be, the victim is always damaged.
2: Rape can cause STDs and pregnancy.
It's bad enough when a person gets an STD or gets pregnant when they didn't want to. It's even worse when the STD or pregnancy was forced upon them by someone else.
3. Rape violates a person's body, privacy and self.
Rape victims often struggle with problems for years after the event. Being raped is like plunging a knife into your soul, it tears apart who you are and leaves you confused and scared.
Rape is not something to be taken lightly. It is a crime, a horrible crime, not love. There are thousands of rape victims, possibly millions, out there, who can all attest to that.
No one enjoys rape, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Honey, you shouldn't feel ashamed that someone else committed a criminal act against you. It was not your fault at all. You can't help what you feel. It doesn't make you a bad person, and it doesn't mean you wanted it.
I have never been raped, so I can't hope to understand your feelings properly. I know it must be horrible. I hope you have lots of friends and family to support you, and I hope you got or can get counseling. :c
I see you are a Muslim. I am a Christian. Do you mind if I pray for your healing?

Thank you. <3
You can pray for me. Is there anything you would like me to make du'aa (supplication; much like the "petitioning" mentioned in Philippians 4:6 of the Bible) about for you?

No thank you, but, I would love to know more about being Muslim! I don't know much about the religion but it sounds very interesting. c: If you have the time to explain, of course.

Of course, I'd love to explain! There is a concept in Islam called da'wah, which is educating people about the faith, clearing up misconceptions, and helping to spread a positive image of Islam (one that is direly needed in today's world).
Hmmm. Haha, I get asked this question a lot, but I never know how to answer it - there is so much to say!
Islam is founded on 5 pillars:
-shahada - the testimony of faith (believing in no God but God)
-salat - daily prayer
-zakat - charity
-sawm - fasting during the month of Ramadan
-hajj - the pilgrimage to Mecca, the Muslim Holy Land
"Islam" means "peace and submission to God." The term "Muslim" simply means "one who submits to God." Islam, Muslim, and salam (peace) all come from the same Arabic root S-L-M, the root meaning "peace." Peace is one of the most important things in Islam.
Muslims believe many of the same things Christians do. We believe in Jesus, Mary, Moses, Aaron, Abraham, etc. and love them all. The big difference is that we believe that Jesus was simply a man, not the Son of God, but a Prophet of God. In Islam, God cannot be split. He never physically enters into His own creation (though His Influence and Will are infinite and guide us), nor does He have any offspring. He is One, never begetting nor requiring allies. We also do not believe in Original Sin. We believe God forgave Adam and Eve after teaching them about repentance. An important concept in Islam is that each person is only held accountable for their own deeds and actions. We are born with a clean slate.
Like Jesus, Muhammad was a Prophet of God. We believe that every Prophet was given the same message. Before Muhammad, though, the teachings of the Prophets were either lost or changed or corrupted. When God sent down the Quran to Muhammad, He clarified what the original teachings were. Muhammad was to be the final Prophet, and thus the Quran has stayed intact and completely unchanged since its reveal. The only change it has undergone was to add vowel marks (which often were unwritten but implied in Semitic languages) as the Arabic language began to change, in order to preserve it in the exact way as it was given. The Bible (which I have read and studied extensively) has many different versions and contradictions, though it is still clearly a divine scripture from God.
All in all, though, Muslims and Christians believe many of the same things and share the same values. Charity is incredibly important. In the Bible, Jesus talks about the importance of feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, helping the needy. "Whatsoever you do to the least of my people, that you do unto me." Throughout the year, but especially during the month of Ramadan, Muslims have the obligation to give charity and help the needy. We believe in the importance of prayer and thankfulness to God. He is to become before all else. We must do righteous deeds. We believe in heaven and in hell, angels and demons. We must live pious, modest, good lives. Kindness to all of God's people is important. We must fight against injustice, poverty, cruelty, hatred, and evil. Muslims and Christians should be friends, not enemies.
I am a different type of Muslim from Sunni, Shia, etc., so my beliefs and practices might not reflect everyone. I do not follow Hadith (a collection of sayings supposedly attributed to the Prophet Muhammad). Hadith have many contradictions and some go against the Quran, which Muslims believe is the pure and complete word of God. There are some Hadith out there that are the cause of most of the violence and oppression in the Islamic world. Islam is a religion of peace, and Hadith can lead to some very bad things. There are some very good Hadith, too, don't get me wrong, but I prefer to think of Hadith as proverbs and parables, not as equal to the word of God.
If you have any specific questions, shoot me a message. I hope this was informative.

Hmm... well... If you do not believe that Jesus is God, how do Muslims receive salvation?

Muslims believe that a person is judged by their faith as well as for their deeds. The key to salvation and reward in the afterlife is to believe in God and to do good. Since we do not believe in Original Sin, the idea that Jesus died to forgive our sins doesn't make much sense to us. Each person is responsible for their own deeds, and therefore each person must seek forgiveness for their sins on their own. God will forgive any sin except for disbelief, so if you come to God truly seeking forgiveness, you need not worry. It is when somebody does not seek forgiveness or secretly does not feel sorry for their sins that their salvation becomes highly doubtful.
Muslims don't believe Jesus was truly crucified. We believe his soul was brought up to heaven and that only his body was crucified, because God is merciful to His prophets. Shi'a Muslims believe that the Prophet Jesus will return to earth on the Day of Judgement. Not sure what Sunnis believe.
I have a few questions. Christianity focuses a lot on Jesus and believes he was God. People pray to Jesus and ask him for help. But if God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are One, why don't people pray to the Holy Spirit? Why pray to Jesus instead of God? If it is all God, why separate it? That's something that has confused me for a while.
In the Bible, Jesus seeks guidance from God. But if Jesus is God, why must he ask himself for guidance? Why does his power and knowledge as God seem limited as Jesus? Why was he afraid? I personally do not believe that God would limit His knowledge and power to become Jesus only to guide Himself with said knowledge and power as God. That's why the idea of Jesus being a human prophet makes more sense to me. There are also non-trinitarian Christians, such as Unitarians, who believe Jesus was just a man, albeit a great one whose teachings come from God.
I'm interested to hear your answers. I hope I answered your question well.

I agree and the only reason if one looks like they're "enjoying " it isn't because they are, it's because of the stimulation. It's not enjoyment, but of course you might feel some thing if someone is touching you in that way due to the stimulation...

That is true... Human bodies are "programmed" to respond to sex, so there can be involuntary things that happen during rape... Still doesn't mean the person enjoys it. :/

I was actually thinking into depth about this topic earlier today, and I have to be completely honest. People need to learn, NO really means NO.
I'm going to be honest here, I was sexually harassed, not raped, but harassed, so on some accord I can hugely understand when people are just begging people to stop.
I know a lot of people on deviantART who describe rape as one of the worst things that could've ever happened to them and I have to agree. Rape is horrifying and upsetting, sometimes people walk down the street just getting scared of violation or being hurt.
The reason I was thinking about this was because I noticed a certain artist (not gonna mention names) really likes to draw abusive relationships and rape-like pictures and it upsets me because people don't realize that it isn't love. Some people are actually physiologically tricking themselves into thinking rape is something enjoyable. It's not. It destroys lives, it hurts so much and tortures people's feelings.
So I have to agree 100% with this.
Nobody enjoys being raped.
