Love the way you implemented an "cliched" image. Most of them just focus in the 2 colors, in other words, Black and White (or gold), but you, on the other hand added quite a plenty of colors to it! I love the red wings of the demon! The "colorful" skies also looks great! And of course, cool angel & demon!

awwww thanks hhahah, the skies took almost FOREVER. i was slowly layering on the colors for the angel's sky so it wouldn't look to dark

thanks so much!!! actually, my coloring is NOT flawless, its just that this is such a smaller version of the actual thing [3 by 3ft] if you saw the real thing, i think you'd cringe ...

angels are blonde, i think, because blue eyes and blonde hair are the 'mark of beauty' [etc etc] and its the lightest combination available... light = white = purity

I Think it looks COOL! ^-^ Very nice. How the chain & cloth wraps around the ring and the womans hair. The backroungs pretty cool too. It looks like there is something written around the outside of the ring though. All tiny

thanks m'dear!!! ... the woman's hair and the whole pic actually have more values than that... like her hair actually has 3 shades of yellow, but the camera didn't catch that. i think i'll try scanning it and putting pieces of it together... the writing are the lyrics [like 2 lines] to the 'song' i was 'illustrating' the song has nothing to do with the picture though, just some reference to angels and devils so.... i cheated

I love the black tips on the angel's wings. I'm not sure why they stand out to me so much, but they're a nice little detail and definately add something to the overall look. I also like how you did the background. It looks a lot like watercolor, and has a nice softness to it in comparison to the sharp, bright colours of the subjects. Lovely.

thanks much kyndel i like the wing tips too... i think i started adding them to my wings when i messed up once a looong time ago and it looked good .... the background is actually colored pencil... really really meticulously layered color pencil... it took me soooo long
