Description
Getting a horse of her own to show in a near future had been a long term itch by now; Cozy wasn't even near getting her first rider on and Tess was making sure to not rush her mare and only let her warm up at her own pace. Which left her showing Whisp. A great horse really, talented and good looking, but also sooooo moody and more of a all around currently, what she was longing for right now was a pure dressage mount, a horse of her own to strive for a higher career in that discipline she had been focusing in in the last year. She still had a lot to learn and lots of complaints from Alexa to hear before she would graze higher podiums, but the dream was there and this young stud had a little something that just felt right.

Not only was he almost floating, reacting to her aids in a split second ( and without pining his ears like another ride), his kind of spooks and reactions were nothing compared to the thoroughbred she used to ride. Not once Tess felt in a hard position and she surely enjoyed the young horse's attitude. She spoke to him softly when he got insecure and then proceeded with the test ride, pating his neck at each good decision. Even the wind of an upcoming storm wasn't enough to break their form and spirits.
And as if the horse she got to experience wasn't enough,Tess got to be supervised by the Dressage gold medalist himself, a true superstar of the scene, Simon Kvark. At this point, her year was peaking and it could only go downward compared to this. Of course she had no hopes of impressing her coach of the day with her skill level, but she surely wished to appear as a serious rider and a suitable owner for an important prospect like Scout. Hopefully her horsemanship and calm riding style would paint her in a good light.

Soon enough it was over, just like a fever dream, they had tried everything that needed to be assessed and Tess dismounted against her heart. She rubbed the stallion's face and led him in the direction of her supervisor.

"He is amazing" simply said Tess in a breath, just as she got close enough to Simon to be heard "Perfect really."
she stuck her arm out, offering to shake his hand while her smile exposed just how much of a good time she had: " Thank you for this opportunity." If she got to bring this horse home or not, Tess had and experience she wasn't going to forget anytime soon.
