This might also explain why the Daleks look like salt & pepper shakers.
The 11th Doctor, Amy, and Rory in the (what I tried to be) style of the unstoppable Calvin and Hobbes by the great Bill Watterson. An exceptionally early birthday present for the magnificent Melissa.
If I had been thinking, I would have inked it in india ink so I could actually watercolor it. Oh, well. The physical drawing is rather small, so perhaps I would have to enlarge it, anyway. (Eleven is so much larger than Rory and Amy because he's older. Not because I fail at sizing things. Nope.) Rory is probably alerting the Doctor and Amy to a large dinosaur.
Next, the TARDIS shall have to transform into a DeLorean, a Chesterfield sofa, and a giant stone donut.

I could tell it was emulating Watterson's style right away.
I love the expressions, especially Rory's. They're so simple but work wonderfully.
Also laughed majorly at the last line of your description. I just hope the sofa doesn't land on cricket field.
