"Responsibility"
I drew the lineart for this almost a year ago to the day. The reason I picked that for the title is that one day she’ll be taking up the mantle of Sailor Moon/Queen, right? That’s a whole lotta responsibility right thar.
I was mostly just mucking around with the background and it was both frustrating and fun at the same time. Not entirely sold on it but my eyes are bleeding from looking at all the colours for so long sooo…

I always wondered what Chibi Usa would look like all grown up and not under the influence of Nemisis. I think this is a gorgeous portrayal of her.

This is so beautiful and I love that Chibi-Usa is getting more love now than she was years ago (at least in America). No one ever seemed to think of the pressure she must feel at times - especially since her dream is to be a lady one day...so it's very touching image. Congrats on the DD.

Thank you very much! I haven't kept up with SMC but from what I've seen of the discussion posts it seems her characterisation has been much more sympathetic than in the original anime.

It really has been. She's not as harsh as the original anime and it's really been Usagi's characterization that's rubbed me wrong this time around - although she finally came clean about what was really upsetting and it actually made a lot of sense. People don't give SMC a chance because of the artwork, but I'm really liking the story a lot more this time around.
