You sigh deeply, sitting down at the large family dinner table. Your parents were bugging you about how 'you're going to spend your life alone'. But you didn't mind as much. Your mind was focused on a Fire Nation Prince at the moment.

"(Y/n), I was thinking," Your father, the King, said, giving you a soft look. "you're about the age to be getting ready to be married--"

"Absolutly not." You spat out, your eyes not lifting from the plate in front of you. "I don't think that I am ready."

He took a deep sigh in, playing with the rings on his fingers. "(Y-Y/n). I really do think that you should at least start to s-see someone.." He mumbled. He was afraid of you.

Shaking your head, you pushed away from the table, standing up. "You know very well that when I want to, I will. That is final."

"J-Just please try." His voice was a whisper, not wanting to make you mad.

"You just don't understand! I can't be with who I want to be with!" You yelled, tears streaming down your cheeks as you quickly turned and rain up to your room; bare feet bringing up a trail of the rock floor behind you. Once you knew you were alone, you slouched against the door and allowed yourself to cry harder than what you already had.

"Hey. What's with the tears?" A husky voice asked, causing you to look up at the prince that was now standing inside your room.

Blinking, you dried your eyes and stood up. "H-How did you get in here?"

He chuckled and sat down on one of the chairs. "You're on the first floor. I kind of just walked in."

"W-Why are you here?" You asked softly, the question hinted with a bit of wonder and hope by the fact he came to see you.

A slight smile broke out on his face as he looked at you. "I wanted a rematch."

And with that, every bit of wonder and hope had vanished and your heart sank. "Really? That's what you came here for!?" You screamed, tears starting to form in your eyes. "You're such a jerk!" You yelled, slamming your foot down and raising your floor; slamming it over him, getting his entire body but his head covered in rock. "Done." You hissed.

He sighed deeply and blinked; his face showing that he was fighting to get out. "Oh come on. I wasn't ready."

"I was." You muttered, not bothering to release him. "Next time, you shouldn't come just to fight."

"What should I come for?" He asked, stopping his struggle to get out.

You took a deep breath in and looked down at him. "I don't have many friends, alright? I kind of thought you were coming to see me, not just tell me you wanted to fight."

He blinked. "I never thought about that." Zuko told you, now trying to get out.

Gritting your teeth, you tightend the grip on the rock around him. "You're heartless." You cried, biting your lip.

"D-Don't cry." He breathed out, sighing after. "I-I-I never wanted to make you cry.."

Looking down at him, with one swift moment you removed all the rock around him, stepping back to let him up. "Leave."

Zuko slowly stood up and brushed himself off. "You know. I-I don't really talk to people often. And I kind of just showed up, I didn't really know what to do. Th-That's why I wanted to fight you."

You looked up at him and moved closer. "Still. You made me feel awful about myself."

"How?" He asked, his eyes never leaving yours.

"My father wants me to find someone. I don't think I can. You kind of rose my hopes." You told him, running a hand through your hair.

He smiled softly, pulling you closer to himself, his lips crashing onto yours. "That's kind of why I came."
