Figured I should actually finish my version of him ASAP so I don't get influenced by other peoples designs! Was quite a while ago since I drew some grandpas but I'm content with the result.Probably made him too cute....But he's such a darling flamboyant character in canon so what's a poor fangirl to do~

I love all these designs but especially this! Too often people depict him as this Bishonen pretty boy romantic or an angsty goth for some reason but I am positive this is exactly how Discord would dress and look as a human. I love the random whimsy of it, and how it reminds me a bit of Howl Jenkins Pendragon with the coat.Β
But he's also not some creepy old man (another depiction I'm also not fond of), he's appropriately weird looking but in a cute way Fluttershy would probably like.Β

This is so gloriously clever. The brim of the hat forming his ears is soooo good.
I love how it's not just a straight up jacket with different color patches. The various thicknesses and flaps hinting at his actual shapes is beautiful.
