Sooo here's a thing I've been developing for some time, nearly half a year by now. The story is still in the works, but I'm thinking about making a series about these characters, eventually. Not sure if I'll ever go through with it, or really when, but I still enjoy drawing and developing them~

The idea was that these aliens have a very angelic appearance (either by coincidence or possibly a deeper lore thing with earth). They serve as protectors of space, as they are able to freely "fly" through space with no assistance from ships. No one knows how they can do this, or why they've evolved to have such an ability, and thus enemies seek them out for either their technology or their internal organs. They, however, tend to travel in large numbers, and have powerful combative abilities, making them incredibly difficult to capture. One, however, gets separated from his group.

The story will revolve around Cassiel, the fallen rookie of his squadron, finding his team and trying to return home before their enemies sniff him out and hunt him down.

The lore of the world is still in the works, and I'm not certain how many parallels I will use for inspiration towards the concepts of angels and devils.
