Pumbaa: did you know the part scene you say,while your eating a bug?!

Pumbaa:Well you say your a insectivore right?!.

meerkats are, in fact, small predators (in the mongoose family) who hunt, kill, and then EAT small birds, reptiles, and mammals as well as insects. so this is not without some logic. also, warthogs are scavengers and often eat carcasses. so much for hakuna matata...
