Another hospital doodle I fixed up in Gimp. I'm sure there's some symbolism here, but I was really just drawing this cool idea I had in my head lol. I've never drawn maggots before (or grubs or whatever those are supposed to be) so I kinda just tried from memory to what a certain something like that would look like. Those are probably the wrong colours too lol.Title from "Audience Of One" by Rise Against.

I LOVE IT! Its really different from your other drawings that you have posted up. Just the way it looks and feels intrigues me. I also like the rough colouring style that was used to give the picture more texture and give it that creepy old look. I just love how the person/monster looks. It reminds me of a character that you would see in Silent Hill.
The butterflies give the picture a happy feeling while the maggot give you a disgusting feel to it too. The blood does too but, lets be honest. In today's society, the blood factor doesn't really scare or gross out a lot of people. While maggots will forever be disgusting.
