you are the morning of an escaping dream
the memory i cannot clutch
you are my cigarette,
the addiction to set me free
your blue-green-eyes are the bottom of the ocean
that i will never see
you are my morning sunshine,
but you would blind me with your light
you are my buried treasure,
you are hidden out of sight.
you are my guitar
whose strings i cannot play
you are my sand castle
and you will wash away
you are my most painful and real love
whose lips i cannot kiss
and even when you're so near to me,
you're the one i miss.

I like the simple rhyme scheme, and the idea of being unable to express love with someone you care so deeply about. This poem was very delicate and beautiful.

I thought it was quite simple to what I've written in the past. I wanted it be uncomplicated. I'll admit, I really like this one of mine. The whole...fire is a light I can't touch, and other things that are just out of reach, such as love....it seemed like a cool concept.

Opinions are very much apart of art. I like your
longer pieces, less they're short and artsy like your "We Whispered Orange" one. I believe it was only the ONE piece
we misunderstood eachother on. Anyway, this one just reminded me of all the other great ones you usually write, its just nice to see it continue. Like Rogers writting another with Hammerstien, instead of Hart, Elvis in his earlier, pre fat days ect.. I know that we all try to do different things all the time, and move on and grow, but whilst you can see someone churn out the same type of thing, with the same quality, and different appel each time, you really appreciate it, while you've got it, you know..
