Whilst Lucy and her female Sith were off on their deep space journey to that distant planet Earth. Vader decided to remove the biggest thorn in his side stopping him from consolidating power and bringing his family back together. Emperor or Chancellor Palpatine depending on who was asked.

Vader knew he had to get rid of him permanently and he knew Palpatine had a sort of back up force restorer on the Exegol, the home base of the Sith Emperor, so he asked Ashoka to train and keep the Death Star safe and he went off hunted down the emperor’s back up so he could be killed permanently.

Vader arrived a day later and immediately set out for the Sith Temple. He ran into a few obstacles along the way and Palpatine’s security system but he did eventually manage to destroy the back up. The mission did damage his armour so he had to do a temporary repair to last him until he got back to the Death Star.

He returned to the Death Star and immediately summoned the repair droids to fix his armour. After they had completed their task and he had got his body healed, he made his way to the main bridge where Ashoka was waiting for him. She met him know the Emperor was en route and was wanting a meeting with him. Vader nodded his head and advised her to begin preparing for the mission to permanently remove the Emperor.

Palpatine arrived an hour later and was immediately escorted to the bridge where he found Vader overlooking the Empire’s fleet. He demanded Vader tell him why he had visited Exegol and why he went in the first place. Vader just turned and stared at him and just laughed.

This was the signal Ashoka needed and she simply moved onto the bridge and plunged her lightsaber through the now dying Emperor’s chest. Palpatine just looked at Vader in betrayal as he died and just before his last breath, he realised he couldn’t feel his back up. He was gone for good and he passed with that thought.

Vader ordered the remains be removed and given a burial fit for a chancellor. He then proclaimed himself as Emperor and ordered all fleets to meet at Exegol where they would begin plans to start the end of the Jedi. He was now in charge and no one would take it away from him.
