They are using Photoshop CS3 or something like that. I use Photoshop CSS or Paint.net. I recommend Paint.net if you don't want to pay or you don't want to crack Photoshop.

Or they could be using Adpobe imageready

Yeah sometimes it can be annoying. You can also use Gimp or Paint.net

Mhm, I use GIMP for stuff like underlining and what not, or just digitalising stuff, because Im lazy to read the manuals XD

Yeah, GIMP is good for stuff like that. For me Photoshop is better for making layouts, backgrounds and things like that rather than drawing

you should just have made this image optimized and only have ONE emoticon (where you have 5million) and have that one animated (since only that little in this big picture is animated it won't hurt anything) ..instead of the link to the finished one.since that link is broken..lol
anyways.. i'll use this from this day on instead of explaining to all n00bs at this "biz" how to animate
