Charizard as it was meant to be. I like dragons, and even though I'd never choose a Charmander as a starter, I like the shape of this particular pokemon.Oh, and for you PKMN fans, I can't wait for you to gobble this up

One time I had somebody trade me the strters so I'd have all of them: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu. I usually had issues with Red/Blue and so forth. My final two pokemon to complete the team were Rhydon and Kadabra.

Serious improvement. I'm sick of plantigrade dinosaurs, even if Tajiri was a daikaiju fan.

????!!!Go die. Plantigrade dinosaurs is what I specialize in and I have no clue what daikaiju fan, but I know Satoshi Tajiri would love my Charizard. The wings are very scaly. Very hoary too. I could make him more hoary. Ok, j/k about the go die thing...

You misunderstand, what I was saying is that you made a serious improvement over the original design.
The original design is plantigrade, while what you've drawn here is digitigrade, and I'm sick of plantigrade dinosaurs when digitigrade looks so much cooler.
Daikaiju = japanese giant monsters. Tajiri loved monster movies, and a lot of pokΓ©mon end up like them: big bulky plantigrade dinosaurs, but I still like more realistic digitigrade dinos better, like you've done here.
Hoary huh? Yeah those are hoary wings.. hee. Also these wings have 4 fingers in them and no 'wing thumb' while charizard has a 'thumb' and one or two wing fingers depending how you look at it. That's just something I notice a lot, but your version also looks great

Yes. Well, actually, they are 5 fingered wings. They are five digits, but one's behind the hand, and you can see it pop out behind. This isn't your Blue's Charizard

Ahhh I see. Very cool. Course y'know bats have 3-fingered wings, plus one thumb and one finger that just sits directly on top of the other. ^^ so this is completely unique

Yes. This is a dragon with bat like wings that aren't batty. Besides, a heavy beast needs a stronger winged frame in order to fly better, I would say.

I hadn't thought of that! I was thinking about the smaller wing pockets between each finger when there are more fingers, but then again it'd be much more powerful if there were more fingers! Yes!

you know i FAINTLY remember some back cover of one Pokemon collecting magazine that had a "realistic" charizard, as in it had texture and stuff..
