I'm back from a New year trip, and I'm having a problem with internet connection at my studio.
So I have to use a computer at my parent's office instead.[with terrible internet speed]

You know though, that when it's a popular artist like this, who doesn't need to submit things to groups, that most of the groups they end up in are generally groups coming to submit things to themself. So any of the assumptions you're experiencing are things the group also experienced, and then made a decision on. (or perhaps decided they don't care, as long as it probably works.)
But no, really. The design is supposed to be genderless. So the ambiguous appearance is on purpose.

No they're not. They're androgynous/neuter. The funny part is that nobody bothered questioning whether the appearance wasn't ambiguous on purpose.
