I hate love triangles. :[Anyway, I finished Mockingjay. HOLY SHIT. I have so many thoughts and feelings and emotions...but then, instead of a semi-intelligent review, I ended up drawing this.
I don't deserve to draw.

I must say, the love triangle was pretty much the only thing that angered me about the Hunger Games. I think Katniss could've been an even more kick ass character than she already was without it. And the way she disposed of Gale, ERGH!

No, really, it makes sense, because she was already firey and angry and passionate- what she needed was the opposite, the sweet, humane person to cool her down. Gale and Katniss were great partners, but as lovers, they would have destroyed each other.

I agree with you on the love triangle thing SO much. I have not finished PLENTY of novels/movies/etc. because a love triangle was involved. They piss me off royaly.

For some reason I always hate the main characters in books (Harry Potter, Katniss, Bella Swan...).
Imo they never deserve to be loved BY SIMPLY EVERYONE. Somehow they always are tho.

The ending just.... God, I hated it. Katniss pulled a total Bella Swan at the end. Being all depressed and whatnot.... Catching Fire and the first half of Mockingkay set up for a perfect ending and then.... meh. I guess I just like Gale better. >__<
I guess I was ticked off at him for designing that bomb and at Katniss for blaming him... And Peeta... well, I'll admit, I want to hate him, but I can't.
