Working on some doodles SINCE I DIDN'T SLEEP AGAIN JEEZ. I have GOT to stop drinking Redbull when I'm closing.So ya, Luon and Miga are part of which I should have had the 2nd page for LAST YEAR, but I am a professional procrastinator, so....meh, what's new.
I'm not happy with the coloring on Luon, but the lines are good. Miga, on the other hand, turned out NEAR PERFECT for me. I don't think I've ever been happier with my coloring. No lie. :3 Now I just have to draw 3 more, and I'll have my team! *so lame*

Baaaw, I would really. But I can't draw real pokemon much less come up with original designs.

Frankly I'm not sure if it's so much an art slump so much as... figuring out that I can survive without drawing everyday. Or in fact, not physically being able to draw anything Up To Standards for months on end, but still feeling somehow creatively fulfilled.
In fact, through cosplay I ended up having more fun with better end results then I've ever been able to have with my drawing; which was/is a scary thought since I've worked my ass off for years with my drawing only to plateau at mediocre. :/
As for Pokemon, I am so sorry. I cannot draw real pokemon (as you saw with cyndaquil), much less know the design elements that combine well for original pokemon. :<

This sounds like an awesome kind of art slump, lucky. When I get art slumps I usually have TONS OF IDEAS, but my hand seems to have gone on vacation and nothing turns out right. :T
It's awesome that you've found a second outlet for creativity other than drawing though! And having more fun at cosplay shouldn't mean that you can't have fun at drawing. The fact that cosplay comes more naturally to you is an awesome thing. AND YOUR ART IS NOT MEDIOCRE. >:CCC
