It's devastating and sometimes scary to endure hearing two people (maybe more) yelling in an endless argument. I am fortunate enough to not deal with this that many times, but I imagine it must be terrifying and stressful to have to go through it frequently.Kai's mom and dad fought a lot when he was young.
Sort of continued from my old doodle [link] I felt like drawing kid Kai.

My family where so wound up growing up and it really tarnished my love for cartoons as they where brought in the argument if I was in the cross fire.

Im one of those unfortunate people but believe me ive gotten used to it, infact I just want my parents to break it up and just divorce but sadly its not that easy. my mom dosent believe in divorcing and my dad threatens to kill himselfΒ and our momΒ >w>" your very luckyΒ though :3 I just brush it off so its not as sad to me as it would be the the young boy in the picture Β

Taking the fact that this is about the life of a fictional character, the idea of picture is pretty sad.
I can relate personally, and I'm sure others can too. Parents need to handle their business away from their children.
Now relating to the story of the picture: Poor Kai. I've seen the other slices of his past that you've drawn before but this is possibly the saddest. He's so tiny and he can't do a damn thing but cry...
It's sad, but a rather beautiful drawing.

I've fortunately had not experienced this in my early life but I still find this topic very sad. I feel bad that little children have to go through this stage early in their life and they have no control on how to process this nor fix it. It's such an unfair thing 2 people can do because they made bad choices, especially on someone who still relies on them for support.Β

This is a beautiful image. Heartbreaking beyond belief. I think it's when I saw the tears rolling down the parrot is what got me nearly tearing up. *Such a sap.*

This is an amazing drawing, I really think my favorite part is the parrot, the look of the tears running down it. Though, I'm limited on my knowledge of Kai's history, so I'm not sure if that's a real parrot or not
