No, it was even more... complicated.
Basically we had a running gag that our Marines had once found a book called "Codex Socialis", inofficially subtitled "Human behaviour for Dummi... er, Astartes." In one session we were exploring a Space Hulk and came across a panicked survivor (who was even more panicked by our Librarian replying to his ramblings with an overly cheerfull 'HELLO!!!'). My Techmarine consulted the Codex Socialis, which went like this: "Huh, why does the Codex say 'My hovercraft is full of eels'? Never mind... alright, 'Ways to calm a scared human: Distract them by talking about something positive or something trivial, like the weather.'" So imagine this huge half-metal monster standing in front of the shaking human and saying in an emotionless voice: "Outside... weather is... surely good." IN SPACE. Cue human having a mental breakdown. Poor guy.
Half an hour later our Librarian for some reason started repeating everything people said. (He's... special. There's also the famous bedsheet story, but it doesn't belong here.) Annoyed, the Techmarine declared: "I know why our psyker is repeating everything. It's just our words echoing through his hollow head."
To which the Librarian replied dreamily: "My head is full of eels." Β

This is fucking funny to me... Your RP group is surely awesome. The idea of this "Codex Socialis" alone is pure gold and would be an infinite source of epic pics. I shall go into more detail tomorrow, because I`m a damn weak mortal and seek some sleep now.
And: New term for Astartes from now on (developed today by me and Halgaraz): "Spays Moreen". Maybe it will evolve to "Spays Morhun", who knows...

I have at least heard (or read) it mentioned somewhere, but I can't for the sake of me recall what it was about exactly. Okay, I can't recall much after midnight anyway.
I like polls. But I suck at naming characters... it always takes me ages, mostly because I want the names to fit (and if the meaning is somewhat symbolic, it's even better. Yeah, I'm a pathetic name nerd.)
