Thank you. It´s already 3 years that I did my first strokes digitally. First just with a mouse or using the line function in Gimp, later by tablet in Photoshop. I still see something new that wants to be discovered every day. I wish I had more time and even more, I wish I weren´t that old. Young people can learn so easy, while my rusted braincells almost need a hammer to get informations punched into them.
People keep coming and going (including myself), but I remember seeing you constantly from my humble beginnings here until today. Good memories indeed...
And don´t worry too much, Slaanesh just wants to play.

Those crazy experiments usually turn out to be astonishing in quality. When i try something new, crazy with my miniatures it usually is a big boost of my skills.

Those things also bear the potential of wasted time and sometimes even money. But without trying anything new, there can be no evolution. Of course, you can try to improve what you´re already able of, and drive it to perfection. I think that´s an honorable ambition. But you´ll also refuse to move anywhere by doing that. And standing still, isn´t a desirable thing to me.

In my case money is in fact at stake. Everything i use does cost money and wastes ressources beyond time. Trying something new is mandatory. Even if it is a "failure", did not work out and will not gove you something to show of, as long you learned something it isn't wasted (might be a loss in some way still)
Can a art be driven to perfection? Can a craftsmanship be "maxed out"? You will stay in a specific niche, that's true, but does that mean i am not going anywhere? I am not sure aboit that.

Hab diesmal soviele screenshots gemacht und geteilt, das sich das angeboten hat. Nicht, das das jemanden interessieren oder gar weiterhelfen würde, aber egal.
Ausserdem ein guter Weg, um mal zu zeigen, wo "Inspiration" so überall herkommen kann. Deswegen hab ich auch das Foto mit dazu gepackt und nicht einen auf "Seht mich an- ich bin ein Genie" gemacht...

I don´t want to rob your time by telling you about things you already knew years ago, but I came across some new and quite improving workflows that I never heard of before. And it seems like the result has benefitted from that.
Before you get used to such pieces: I won´t quit the stupid and silly ones. Mostly because they reflect my personality...
And thank you very much. Lifting plebs like me up instead of ignoring them completely makes you a good man in my eyes.

But I still see a lot of things that need improvement. It´s just another step on my quest to finally create something flawless one day, that will ultimately look so damn great, that nobody else will ever draw something else again. And then I`ll be what I always wanted to be: Art`s murderer.

Yeah, I heard that people are raiding the comments of these a few days ago. Somebody mentioned it on a podcast that I´m subscribed to. Funny stuff. In the end, it´s a priceless advertisement for Haribo that comes for free, even if it looks negative at first glance. The attention that this gained is worth a lot. I can only hope, that they handle it properly and don´t get too butthurt over it.
