Your brother needed your car keys, but you forgot all about them.
You said I do such things to you and I wondered why.

I had just woken up...
You would spend the night out and I was staying home.
I didn't expect much, but you left me a text saying, "I wish you were here".

You were traveling out of town...
I knew you needed some time to chill out and we wouldn't talk much.
But still you messaged me, "I miss you".

I was anxious...
We were both busy with daily routine, but I didn't want you vanish.
You apologized and reassured me that you think of me everytime we are apart.

You were waiting for me by the port, but I never arrived.

And after a while in my dream...
I crossed a path of autumn leaves and crawled in a dark tunnel.
I met you in the dark and it felt like a warm shelter.

Back at one of those nights...
You said I wasn't fawning you as much as you were flattering me.
I prefered to keep it quiet, but still mean every little word.

Every early morning...
I knew you would make my day beautiful with your "goodmorning".

You saw me standing near the airport parking...
You waved at me from across the street and smiled when I looked at your side.

With a cup of coffee and baggage on my arms I took the bus late at night to the airport.
It was empty and dark and all I could see was the city lights moving away.

I looked outside and all I could see was the town getting smaller and smaller.
