Finally got my shoe sculpture bird home!He's made of a well kept and served black high heel. I cut the toepart away and put some feathers and wire swrils (some of which seasoned with wool or paint) instead. I tightened the body with iron wire to make it look more birdish and build him a neck and head out of gypsum and iron wire. Added a touch of paint and voilรก!

I love the metal wire sort of wrapping around the shoe, and the swirls are pretty cool
The feather on the head was a nice touch, too

I liked the metal wire around too, it looked nice so I just left it as it is. The swirls and the feathers are my favourite part of this, real peacock fetahers would have been really nice but we didn't have any, I'm glad I found those with the dots
