Description
This was a study to help get me in to charcoal, as I have another piece I really want to use it on. The reference is from , and if you're looking for great stock I'd highly recommend browsing through these.-12x16 toned pastel paper
-White and black charcoal pencils
-8-10 hours (maybe?)
-Mild editing in gimp to fix some issues with the photo.

I love the sense of movement in this, it looks so dynamic! The lighting is also really interesting. It instantly caught my attention. Fantastic work, the care you put into it is obvious to me!

Wow! Just, amazing. The soft sense of light is beautiful in charcoal. The anatomical accuracy is wonderful. Most incredibly, however, the movement which is perfectly distilled by the dynamic look of both the hair and the incredibly detailed folding of the fabric.
I have to say, the fabric astounds me most. It is just so well captured, so elegant and full of life. Not only this, but every fold captures the lights wonderfully.
An amazing piece, worth every second of 8-10 hours twice over.
