Today is 44th anniversary of the debut of Star Trek.I'm surprisedβ
So I submit this. But...
I just messed up that paper choice !!

I should have used more level paper to this...

I can understand that it must have been very difficult to draw on a paper with that coarse texture. I know that paper BTW it's a French brand ^^
But you managed so so well O_O I believe that your drawing style has somehow evolved through the years, but I really like these older drawings of yours <3<3 They are so true to themselves here <3

I like the perspective on the Enterprise. Reminds me of the Enterprise refit scene once it has left drydock in Star Trek The Motion Picture and the Enterprise is passing the planet Jupiter.

Pastels are easy-to-use art materials for me.

Oh, well done! I only use soft pastel pencils - not crayons because it makes my fingers dirty. Haha. I have very sensitive fingertips) - but I love the pencils. It's easy to blend colors and get details at the same time. I use Derwent pastel pencils. It's possible to fix them with water.
I do use oil pastel crayons, though.

I like color pencils, especially Faber-Castell's I like!!
There are good art materials.
But I do use Pastels because the pastels drawing can be erased with an eraser easily. HAHAHA!

And,yes,I think you get the idea of being and "old crock" just fine...Normally,if someone calls another an old crock,it is a sign of disrespect, like calling someone an "old bag", or "old fool"...But,if you call yourself an old crock,it is like a pet name for yourself,and a way of telling people that while you may be older,you are still sassy and interested in things,even if you don't understand everything that is going on My son calls me an old crock,because while I love my computer, most of the time I don't understand how it works,and I have to ask him how to do things... lol...Hope this helps...I'm glad that I can make you happy,little friend...
