Why is she hunting naked? Well... we just don't know... I was too lazy to draw clothes tbh and I liked the way she looked without them.Another Lai sketch, because I did a ton of sketched of her yesterday. Pretty much idea art, to get a hang of the tail thing. Also, I'm defining the style that I want to use for her story.

She's this species that I came up with while working on the novel that she's from (which I am in the process of editing currently). She's called an Erie (pronounce Air-ee). Their world is mostly topical, with very large trees and other plant life that they sped a lot of time jumping to and what not (hence the tails for balance). Most Eries live in hollowed out trees, up high so that predators can't reach them. They're mostly a tribal species.
In short... she's supposed to look like a demon-like creature from the novel. Some grow horns when they get older, some do not. Depends on the environment they're in. But yeah... sorry, lot's of explanation there. If you want to know more, I'll be publishing her story on wattpad within the next month. I go into a lot more detail than that, of course. haha

Hunting naked is dangerous. Every one prey may leave bad injures, no matter would it be a giant monster or a little rabbit. Though I guess, such a big spear is not for rabbits...

She usually doesn't hunt naked. But for this particular picture, I wanted to draw her during her Hunting Trial, which is when her village sends out all the potential hunters to fend for themselves in the wild for several days, without anything but their weapon of choice. Being nude is a pretty normal thing in their village and they have pretty tough skin. So she's pretty safe. haha

Thanks! I've been playing around with the shape of elf-like ears and it's really fun. Also angles. Trying to practice drawing the face from different angles.
But in truth I just really wanted to draw a booty and it stemmed off from there...
