My friends, apologies for not having spent more time here.I've worked so much the past six months that I've done practically NO personal painting at all.
Good news though - you know that fairytale book I've talked about for so long? I'm going to write it this summer. Actually, getting paid to do so. So... this is my first picture to celebrate that - it's going into the book. I'm afraid that the rest of them, no one will see before the book is done.

I'm not sure about DA's policy, but this piece contains a photoelement in which the artist doesn't own the copyright to. I personally think it's insulting for an artist to steal a photographer's work w/o asking proper permission. The artist doesn't acknowledge the photopart, despite it being an exact 1:1 copy. My first thought upon seeing this was: "shiny!"
Even the horse and the rider's skin seems to be shining! Everything about this painting is just beautiful--there's not much for me to say other than that. I full-heartedly agree with j4m3sb0nd's insanely long comment. Just...amazing!!!
