My friends, apologies for not having spent more time here.I've worked so much the past six months that I've done practically NO personal painting at all.
Good news though - you know that fairytale book I've talked about for so long? I'm going to write it this summer. Actually, getting paid to do so. So... this is my first picture to celebrate that - it's going into the book. I'm afraid that the rest of them, no one will see before the book is done.

Lovely work as usual -- I have only one thing to point out, and I'm not doing it to be nasty, just to suggest checking before painting something technical. No one could ride a horse like this, especially not on a battlefield -- the legs are not only hanging too low, but moreover it's anatomically impossible. Horses are quite wide, and the thighs of any rider, from this perspective, would seem a lot shorter because they'll be more horizontal than vertical. The anatomy of the horse is also a bit off, but that's only me being picky -- horse anatomy is always tricky.
