Description
- Ita-chan, why is a circle the Earth? - Turning over, Holy Roman empire quietly asked himself.
Italy, how could you imagine such an image?
To me, since birth, a circle had always been a mere circle. Draw a circle on the ground and step on it, I could never reach anything. I would just be chasing after a delusional goal, forever.
But now, I finally have you, someone who will help me to end that circle. I have finally found the sole purpose for every of my actions. I could finally step on my circle, and I need not any longer concern myself with suspicions or confusions.
Draw a circle, that's the Earth.
And you, my dear Italy, are my starting point as well as the goal at my end.
I will do everything, for your sake. I will win this seemingly never ending battle, just for you.
The young empire brought the thoughts with him to sleep.
And the thoughts still followed him even at the moment where he faced the guillotine.

EDIT: NEWS HERE!! I got ~BakanoHealthy 's permission! Now who wants me to translate the fanfiction? I'm telling you, the ending she wrote is VERY satisfying for those who don't want Holy Rome to die~
is a great writer, but sadly she only writes in Vietnamese. This is her original work and what you just read is merely my crappy translation.
She writes not only fanfictions but many other things as well, and they're really inspiring.
You probably already knew this, but here's the translation for the German senteces:
Italien, es tut mir leid = Italy, I'm sorry
Ich liebe dich = I love you
I used Google Translate.
To criticizers:
I did all I could because, honestly, I love the story and it's been a long time since I actually draw something more serious. But there's still something wrong with the picture. That being said, I don't know why. So please, tell me where I did wrong. Please.

NOOOOOOOO NOT THIS WAY!! NOT THIS WAY!!!Β
The picture is beautiful to be honest! The only thing I would suggest is shortening the arms when holy roman empire had his arms behind his back. When the arms are bound, they have to bend in order to reach to the back, so that would foreshorten the arms. So I think that would put the hands above the bum, not in line with it ~Β
Otherwise absolutely gorgeous!! Β

I-I. . . ;^; I was just going to write, and then I saw this, and now. . . ;^; I immediately knew what he said in German, even though I don't speak it, and I just. .Β .Β THE TITLE IS SO MISLEADING. ;^; But seriously, I love this so much. It really tugs on your heartstrings if you're a fan of HRE x Chibitalia. ;^; Awesome art~! Also if I'm not mistaken, Napoleon was the one who dissolved the Holy Roman Empire, right? So I blame France. ;^;

I'm totally not creeping through your gallery in the early morning hours, of course not.
My throat started to tighten up when I saw the pictures of Italy, especially the very last picture with the broom and the little photo. I can just picture this scene being in some kind of really sad story you'd see on a movie channel on television. It didn't quite make me cry, but it sure did tug at the heart strings. <3
As for criticizing, I'm not sure if you're still looking for them, but I'll give it a quick shot. If you aren't looking for them any longer, than just ignore the following obnoxious paragraph.
The first thing I noticed [besides how sad and heart crushing yet beautiful this is] is that the wood on the guillotine wasn't shaded. I don't know if that could be a reason it didn't turn out as well? It may or may not be, but I think had you shaded it or maybe added some more texture to it, the picture would have looked more... "equal". What I mean by that is that the characters and the words are quite detailed, but then you look at the wood and it's just brown and has no texture or feel to it at all. It sticks out a bit too much.
The only other thing I noticed was that maybe making the scenes at the guillotine less sketchy, while still leaving the images of Italy kind of sketchy looking may have made a difference too.
The images of Italy would most likely be memories, so having them drawn out in such a sketchy way would make it more of a heartwarming part. However, when the scenes where HRE is waiting at the guillotine, if drawn a bit more boldly, it would be like switching from a sad and depressing scene, to seeing Italy's bright and colorful pictures, and back again.
I'm not sure if that makes sense. It made sense when I was thinking about it, but now in writing it doesn't look like it makes any sense at all, eh heh heh. ^^''
I'm awful at critiquing sometimes.
I'm so sorry.
Regardless of how confusing my critique may have been, I really, REALLY love this picture!
I can't stop staring at that last little image in the corner with the picture and the broom though... it's just so... feel-triggering. QAQ I honestly never really liked the idea of HRE being Germany [even though I'm pretty sure that that's the case] because HRE always creeped me out a little. I'm not sure why.
But anyways.
Argh, why do you have to be so good atΒ transferringΒ emotion into the things you write and draw?! I'm pretty sure that your deviations are going to be the first thing that make me cry on the internet out of sadness or adorableness. Not as though that's a bad thing, either.
This comment ended up being a LOT longer than I intended it to be, so I'll just stop here.
Never stop drawing and writing though, you really have a way of putting real, raw feelings into your art. I've always wanted to be able to do that, but I guess there's a talent for everyone.
Oh wow. I'm going to leave this page now before I start rambling again. Keep up the good work, and sorry again if the critique was no longer desired [or if it was a bad critique, I'm still new to that kind of stuff].
And sorry for the long, obnoxiously large comment. I didn't intend for that to happen.

Aaaaw. It's adorable and really angsty.
...Actually, I'm not sure 'adorable' is the right word but I can't think of the one I'm after. 'Awesome'? 'Amazing'? 'Cute' - no, definitely not cute... 'Incredible'?
Well, you get the idea. It's cool/awesome/amazing/other synonyms.
