It has been almost a year since I started making dioramas and thought it might be nice to pay tribute to the figurines/monsters that no longer have a base,never got used, or are in need of repair(lol damn children and cats)Thanks 1/35 guys, your constant fight with monsters has proved me with get joy...
At some point (when i have more ambition) i would like to fix them up and make them small bases, but for now they live in my bits box.

Well, you could always do a "Hogan's Alley" type target range with them.

It already looks good. Sculpting's so difficult, I started with it a while ago and I guess it will take another while until I've got something to show.

yea it's hard for me too. whole different skill set, than what i am use to. most of my full sculpts are far from great, but i think that my 1/35 mods/conversations are much better and convincing.
i use super sculpt for the the snow monster and such, kinda weird to work with for me. for the conversions i use two part epoxy, i like that material alot more.

I don't like sculpting stuff that smells. So I have to use something which dries when exposed to air or Fimo which you bake in the oven. Actually I should do more with Fimo, since I had a lot of fun with it when I was a child.

the expoy i use is orderless and drys in the air, no need to bake.
i have a couple packs of Fimo, might have to try it out.

Really? I once saw (and smelled) epoxy which smelled liked a chemistry lab after an accident with poisonous gases...
Maybe I should give it a try someday.

yea, just took mine out. its pretty orderless, smells less than Play-Doh. maybe it depend on brand, i use milliput [link] (can be found on German amazon)
come like in two tubes of "clay". mix equally and sculpt. drys hard in air after about 4 hours.can be carved,sanded and painted without priming.

NP, i hear ya, most of the "filling putty's" i use stink really bad. but the epoxy i use is more like clay.

lol you might be right about the aliens....one of my first attempts to sculpt anything,happy they didn't turn out just like amoeba XD
yea the crashed ufo Nazis are nice and i did really like the "fight with double evil" guys till kids broke their heads off lol. think some day when i have time i will sit down and work on base making technique. even if they got a small base it would be better than siting in a bin.
