Description
Canon Rebel XSNKodak Pro Image 100 Film.
Colors altered directly in darkroom.
Photoshop used for resizing, cleaning some scanner marks and balancing colors. I swear I hate Epson scanners.
Fujifilm Crystal Archive photo paper.
Scratches made directly by rubbing the negative against the floor.
The blue stain in the bottom left was a print error. A parter of mine put her photo over mine by mistake so that part didnt develop well, but I liked the result.
Every effect in here made by hand and in darkroom.
Scanned in an Epson CX3900

this shot has a really great feel to it. i love the colors...they are rich, and have an antique feeling to them. the pose is good, because since we can't see the face, all we focus on is the fact that there is a figure, which makes it easy to appreciate the other aspects of the photo. since there is nothing else around, there is a isolated feel, and i love the details of the wheat field. i respect the fact that you did all the manipulations in the darkroom. i think the scratches really add to that antique feel...and the mark on the bottom left doesn't bother me either, it kind of adds to the aged idea. great shot, i love it.

I took the shoots in about two hours and the develop, with trial and error, around half an hour per photo.

well, I like the stain
if you like scratches but don't want to ruin your negatives in the future, I recommend you to use a piece of acrylic glas or real glas from a frame. scratch it and put it over your photo paper.

Thanks, but I dont think this ruins them. By doing it directly I make sure that every negative has a totally different pattern in the scratchs. By preserving them correctly this doesnt affect them
