Description
Canon Rebel XSNKodak Pro Image 100 Film.
Colors altered directly in darkroom.
Photoshop used for resizing, cleaning some scanner marks and balancing colors. I swear I hate Epson scanners.
Fujifilm Crystal Archive photo paper.
Scratches made directly by rubbing the negative against the floor.
The blue stain in the bottom left was a print error. A parter of mine put her photo over mine by mistake so that part didnt develop well, but I liked the result.
Every effect in here made by hand and in darkroom.
Scanned in an Epson CX3900

I like the result too! Scratching the negative reminds me of a photographer who used to paint over each of his negatives. What a beautiful result but he was so heavily criticised by the art world that he gave up his work. I need to remember who that was...

Arnulf Reiner? He is one of my inspirations.

it can't be him, because this guy was a pioneer of the work, late victorian, or edwardian era.
However Reiner is really fab!

No cross process this time. Just normal exposure, using a little bit of red and an aged photo paper.

Your work continues to strike me! Amazing photo, the blue stain actually adds something nice to it
Do you work in your own darkroom?

All of the scratches and darkroom alterations work really well together. The blue stain evokes a spectre-like look, and it's really cool. :]
