My first tutorial goes a little more in depth. You might want to refer to this: [link]But I hope this helps, too! This is for the lots of you who wanted something with how to do stuff on Photoshop...This covers both PS and CW.
The file is huuuuuuuuuuuuuge. This took forever to do x_X;

one question. when you write out the dialogue and whatever in a notebook, do you include what you're going to draw for the scenes? or do you JUST write down what people are going to be saying?

i draw out little storyboards on a separate sheet and sometimes i include it in my notebook...however you feel is more organized ^^ it's very important to plan your pages~

wow. i've ben trying to find something as useful as this for a looooong time....thanks a bunch. i just have one question. is there anyway to make motion lines on photoshop? i dun have comicwors and i probably won't get it. thank!

hm, you'll have to search the internet for something to help you create speed lines. i don't know a short cut to doing it digitally. i'll either use tones or do it by hand

Say if I'm working on a manga page via computer what size would be ideal for printing it in manga form. (if I was going to publish it by lulu what size would each page be to keep it a normal manga page when being printed as a book?)

lulu provides page sizes and guidelines for that (at least they should) so you'll have to look into there =3

oh it's a specific toning program called Comicworks that provides you with all the tones.
If you're using Photoshop then you have to hunt for your own tones through a google search ^^

thanks a lot! i always say i'm going to make my own manga characters and put an amateur manga together, but i keep putting it off cause im no good at drawing my own characters (even though i have the image in my head) but this is going to help me out a lot! i just have to keep on practicing and take my time. i can't expect a 5 star manga in a day! so thanks.
P.S. If its not too much to ask, could you make some kind of tutorial on how to draw hands? that's my worst part of drawing. (and eyes please) if you can't thats fine.
