as a child Tilde kept his emotions bottled up, something ampersand still does to this day ,and he never dyed the tips of his quills till he was sent off to and raised on another island . without his height, dyed tips ,and unshackled personality he looks a lot like his younger brother .fun fact :tilde was the same height as his brother's current height at a much younger age
another fun fact: tilde dyed his quills to match with the traditional dance clothing of the natives who raised him
