The following information is canon to my Ben 10 Universe and Multiverse, and was put together to help establish a solid world build for my Fanfiction and the planets of the different aliens. Just a heads up, the planet’s design is a bit outdated and I kind of prefer the Ink Tank’s version. I hope you enjoy.

Greetings extranet and Omni-planetary travelers. Welcome back to my Alien Worlds article series where we once again plunge into the void and explore our ever-expanding universe of Ben 10. I'm your host, Kylo Nuva. Though you all probably know me by EnderKnight1. Today, we'll be continuing our series of extraterrestrial exploration with the unique world that is Sightra, home of the Opticoids including Eye Guy.

The planet Sightra is highly unusual in that its consistency is more in line with gelatin than rocks and oceans filled with a liquid substance that is similar to gelatin before it dries up. As such, many of the creatures who made this world their home have evolved to follow suit. Most species on this bizarre planet have no skeleton and tend to look similar to jellyfish by the way of hardboiled eggs. The only indigenous beings that have a more rigid structure are the Opticoids, which are held together by stiff cartilage, not solid bones.

Opticoids are a species as unusual as their planet. They are sapient creatures that can have at least seventeen eyes scattered across their upper bodies, and their face consists of a only a mouth and two bat-like ears that dominate most of their heads, which can be mistaken for eyes by the uneducated individual. They are also known for being able to fire blasts from their eyes that have a variety of different effects such as normal lasers, flaming beams, freeze rays, electric beams, eye goo, etc.

The Opticoids have a star in their star system and despite being sensitive to light, the Opticoids have adapted to the light of their own sun. The Opticoids live in technologically advanced cities of which they themselves established. Opticoids live in clans of certain lands and they, incidentally, are very territorial; when a member of another clan is inserted in the wrong territory, said member is directed back to its territory by the other Opticoids.

As for the rest of the planet's creatures, some are creatures that the Opticoids hunt for meat, though they can also grow crops, while there are other creatures that they consider good pets. An example of these pets would be the majestic Gelatinozo, jellyfish-like creatures with zero to six eyes. These creatures can hover, change color, and they can sometimes be milked for a jelly-like substance, which is actually surprisingly tasty and is used by a few great chefs in the galaxy.

On the planet there is a powerful predator that the Opticoids must protect themselves against, the deadly Cuboteslas, or Frightbulbs if you want to go with the more commonly used name. These floating jellyfish-like monsters have many eyes around their head to see in multiple directions, can squeeze through narrow spaces despite its large size, and can change its color for camouflage. The Frightbulbs can also illuminate their heads with a very intense light that can leave its prey blinded and unable to see and fight. The Opticoids have combated their natural predators by using flat surfaces made from a certain mineral. This mineral has similar properties to a mirror, and thus they can be used to redirect their predators' light into a powerful laser to drive them away.

Their predators are the only species the Opticoids have to worry about on their planet, as they don't really feel threatened by invaders. The planet itself provides its own natural defense against any would-be invaders unfamiliar with its unique make-up: One small step for an off-worlder; one giant "Slurp!" as they are sucked into Sightra's gelatinous surface, never to be heard from again. Hey, why did you think the Incurseans never bothered Sightra?

Sightra, a great place to live if you can't be sucked into the planet's surface. I don't know about you, but I think I'd prefer to be on a planet that won't suck me in. Onward!
