Description
here's the first sprite. i only have 4 out of 46 sprites so far, so don't expect it to be done soon. drawing them up is a lot more time consuming than just taking game sprites.I decided I might make shimejis in this style for everyone in the AADAT (AskADogandTemmie) cast, so there'll be one for Pupper and probably Talisa as well (though, I guess she doesn't count as an AADAT character, but whatever, right? She's my avatar, I do what I want).
and also i'm gonna make one for my bird as well because he's adorable and that sort of thing attracts attention in a certain Facebook group I'm in about cute birds.

This is adorable and you should make more art and adoptables in this style

Or if you were asking more on how they're made, it's pretty much just 46 different drawn images in certain positions to mimic the actions. Their behaviour is configurable, but I haven't worked out how to configure yet. I'll test it out with this Temmie, though.

Yes, they do. They walk around, sit and climb walls on their own. If you have the mischievous version they will also perform one of two actions in order to duplicate themselves (though there's a prompt when you right click them to reduce the amount of shimejis on-screen to 'one' if you're annoyed that they're duplicating) and they'll grab windows and throw them out of the desktop on their own. You won't be able to retrieve the window unless you have a second monitor that they threw it to. An example of this happening is in this video showcasing my Annoying Dog shimeji www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCW6oo⦠at 0:34. The Calm version won't duplicate themselves or throw windows.
You can also grab them, swing them around and throw them, but for whatever reason, the idle animation for being grabbed on the version of Shimeji that I have won't work. They can also be placed on top of windows. If you right click them to see the list of actions you can take, you can also make them run after your cursor.Β

Sound fun and annoying (like annoying dog.)Β
Isn't it a hassle to get the window back up though?

If you have a second monitor on the side that they threw the window, then you can just drag it back. But if you don't, then you can't get the window back up - it's stuck there until you close it. Though, the shimeji runs pretty slowly once they've grabbed the window, so you can easily just take it off them before they throw it.

If you HAVE a different screen, yes. If not, then you can't get it back.

Wow. Sounds tedious to get back and annoying

That's why you use the Calm version if you don't want to deal with that.

Download the zipped file, extract everything inside it, then open the .rar executable. A select menu should pop up on your desktop.
