I've been going kind of fanart crazy
here's a Dedan, I think he is pretty cool
I styled him off a naked mole rat in that their incisors are outside their mouths. they dig with their teeth so it makes sense to not end up with mouthfuls of dirt
it's gotta be difficult to yell PISS OFF when you don't have lips
so I surmised that he had a littlemouth inside his bigger one, which can close with no obscene gaps so he can actually talk properly
of course, he still screams as loudly as possible because he is just furious

The idea of that smaller mouth sounds pretty reasonable.. and now it is my headcanon.
