WHOA this was a sudden drawing because i remembered the Xchange ends tomorrow! OopsI got for my xchange and Asha is a dragon who is afraid of heights! So I drew her on a windy hilltop with her wings spread, getting the feeling she is flying but still being firmly on the ground.

It's kinda creepy (though in a fantabulous way) how the bone/claw/limb-thing in the wingΒ looks like a human arm reaching out of the dragon's shoulder.

A lot of dragons have wings styled like that. It's just extra limbs and they're styled around bat wings and suchlike.

I swear I squealed for a good ten seconds at this and just stared. I love the painterly effect to this. You did an amazing job and I just love the scene and your description. I can see her honestly doing that just to feel some kind of wind or breeze under her wings to get some small sense of flight. Tee hee.
