Yay Relicanth! I absolutely adore this Pokemon.The Pokemon itself is based on the Coelacanth, a prehistoric-based fish (That still exists today!). However, this picture here is more based off the Dunkleostus, a massive beastie of a critter that dwelled a loooong time ago. It had a longer body than the Coelacanth, and a larger plate-covering.
I've sort of fused the two
OH WELL.

Sadly it can't go in my realism project as it's too big, and it's landscape instead of portrait D:

i've heard of them both. Dunkleostus was toothless but used sharpened bone plates around its mouth to crunch its prey into more bite sized portions.
