...Yeah faving for the content rather than the art. I'm not saying that's what everyone does, but I think the reason it skyrocketed in faves and comments was purely because it was Umbreon.

I love all of your work and the detail to it all. I think you should just go "pfft" and be happy that you like it and if the commish. person likes it too that's a plus! Don't get down because of stupid fan people..

This is so lovely! It's the pose that I like the most about it, like it's ready for batle. Though I think that the left eye (from Umbreon's POV) is a bit oddly placed and sized.
And with regards to Solyen, I didn't really like the design, pose or colour pallete on it, whereas Umbreon is just very well-designed and attractive. It's not so much a mentality as a matter of personal taste - I really love your work.

although I have to say, it was not the fact it was an umbreon that attracted my attention, It was the pose.
I adore this pose and would like to use it as a reference at some point.

The shading is very nice. What drew me to this was the coloring hob, not the fact that it's umbreon.
My favorite Eeveelution is Vaporeon. ^_^

Maybe Umbreon is liked because of its contrasting colours.. which look good even when shiny, which can't be said for the rest of the Eeveelutions.
The least popular is Leafeon, which is my fave X3
