Nice idea and a good outcome of it.
Next time you could try to add more shadows for example of the two jets who are ready to take of should have a shadow on building for a more realistic look.
also try a motion blur for the end of the jet in the front - just duplicate the jet layer - use a motion blur with the settings thats fits to you and than make a layer mask of this layer an mask the front part.
You also could try to make the lower part of the dam a little bit darker that it fits to the cosmos.
But all in all great work!!
