In specialised stores of jewerly and stones, but is kinda difficult to find it, because these grooves are special for macrame, and isn't a very common technique. In south america is easier to buy them cheaper, maybe you can purchase on internet. I hope this information is usefull for you

I do love your tutorial and would LOVE to see you do a tutorial with the stone without the groove.

I did put my own groove in a stone, but it was hard to get the groove as wide as I needed to attach the string, this is why I want to see a tutorial with no groove.

I will be making polymer clay stones but would like to use real stones also.

hehe thank you for your comment!
Now i'm so busy with studies to make new tutorials, but i'll remember the idea, because some people have asked me to make a tutorial without groove.
Maybe un 2 or 3 weeks i'll start with it.

This looks like an awesome idea for some polymer clay stones I have been working on. The instructions are short, simple, and fun.

Yes, I haven't think about it, but is a great idea to use polymer clay instead stones. Is easier and cheaper
