Episodes about their past can be a hoot. I still crack up at that high school episode. Not only with Dean in the red shorts, but him as a teenager suggesting to that girl that they go see "I Spit On Your Grave." It was just a throwaway comment, but I did an actual spit-take.

I have the feeling she didn't know what it was, either. To be fair, from the title it just sounds like a slasher movie, or maybe a western (Γ la The Quick and the Dead). I mean they didn't market things with whole synopses back then. Plus it was banned a lot of places, so it probably sounded more interesting on those merits alone. Even so. Baaaaaad suggestion, Dean.

I agree. But I do my research on movies before going to see them if the film's not based on a book or true story. A mild OCD thing of mine. I like to know what I'm paying to see. But if he forced me to watch it, I'd make that threat from Missouri a reality, and with a huge metal spoon to the head.

Oh definitely I look it up before going to see a movie, but then again I grew up with the internet. Apparently it was different back then. I mean people who'd gone to see Psycho actually didn't know much of anything about it--and the audiences kept it that way. I mean nowadays we have **SPOILER** warnings and such, but c'mon, the information's still out there. Not to mention the shift in marketing, where nowadays the trailer tends to give you the whole plot right there. Those few movies that don't actually seem more annoying than interesting (I'M LOOKING AT YOU, CLOVERFIELD, YOU ENIGMATIC SONOFABITCH!)--to me at least.

I grew up mostly with the limited internet. As a kid born in the early 90s, it was not like it is today(more search results, faster speed). But better then my parents, who didn't by have the internet like the one I had(or even ANY internet), they're both products born in the mid 60s.

Yeah, early 90's kid as well, but we had internet from pretty early because my parents were academics (born in the mid 50's). And oh man, dial-up. That sound is seared into my braaaain. I almost kind of miss it. The speed issues I do NOT miss. Dude, I remember waiting 5 freaking minutes for a JPEG to load. I should really be more grateful for my technology.
