Description Challenge #8

"Your challenge, for now, is to sketch a design that you would wear as a representation of you as a designer. Your sketch doesn't have to be finished, just either through actual coloring or description do the colors need to be expressed.

If you're a guy, pretend you're a girl for a week.

You must submit the sketch by midnight after Sunday, the 6th. Your sketch will be assigned to someone else... and you will be given another person's design to reinterpret (while not erasing or totally changing) it as so it represents who YOU are as a designer."

This is how I represent myself as a designer, I'm a casual simple person when it comes to the clothes I choose to wear on my everyday basis, I want a clean simple canvas for my look because.... I'm all about the details, I like to experinment different textures prints and cuts of the clothes I choose for myself, I like mix matching all the bold details and see what I could come up with.

For this design ensemble, it's composed of:

-A victorian inspire bolero blazer
-A semi- baloon tank top
-And skinny jeans

Materials:

"Blazer"- I love the fabric "Brocade" and I know it's uncommonly used for outfits... since it's used mostly as window trimmings , I do think the fabric's texture is perfect for this style and genre'.... The collar and cuffse are trimmed with small ruffles in the same collor and material as the fabric, since it's victorian inspire I want to keep the romantic feel to it. (I do believe I have a jacket lying around here somewhere in brocade fabric)

"Tank top"- It will be in cotton, since I want it's silhuette to kinda drape loosly around the body, and of course I want this to be as comfortable as possible. The straps are braided and in the same material as the top, it's to give this somewhat boring silhuette a more interesting feel to it.

"Skinny Jeans"- Absolutely denim, in dark mild acid washed, with stitching designs on the side.
