Description
Elevation sketches of the bishops. i decided that the dragons would make batter bishops since the wendigoes would look too similar to standard knights.At the moment I plan for the main six to be quite mono pose Or do you think they will benefit from distinct more dynamic positions?

Because of the way they jump around the chessboard, Twilight Sparkle should be a Knight, because of her Teleportation.
Just my thoughts on it.

Naturally Rarity should be the white-square bishop, and Twilight the black-squares bishop.

I see your logic. However I think the reverse since then Twilight would be next to Celestia. It would have no effect on the figures them selves and they can simply be rearranged however people want.

yes do distinct poses, but for each piece, like do the rooks in a certain pose different from the bishops. That's my opinion, I'm trying to figure out how to upload a 3d model right now so I can show you what it looks like, this is ganna be possible, lots of work but possible,
