I wanted to study the expressions of my new characters. So I tried to do an expression meme because it's a good practise. And I used traditional media because somehow it's easier to draw expressions with pencil. I just added simple digital coloration.So here is Hawl, king of a small, puny kingdom. He's a cultured, courtly young man and but also very determinded and strong-willed, sometimes even a bit choleric. After the death of his father, the old king, he decided to conquer Grismina (the city where Seik, Elroy and Lourde live) with the help of the necromancer Twit and the airship pirates, to enlarge his kingdom.

I love how natural his expressions look. They aren't over the top, but I can feel every one of them. You have body language down well, too. Especially seeing as we only get a bust view, the fact you were able to portray said language speaks highly of your talent. Excellent job. (He's quite handsome, too!)
