Ahh, that scene was one of those magic RP moments for me. β₯Hawl became possessed by an evil ghost and Claster tried to help him beat it up. I wanted to do that for sooo long, but never felt motivated enough to draw that pose. Omg, dat pose!! It killed me so hard, I needed hours just to create the sketch and linework. bah!
But now I hope it was worth the effort, haha.
Well, first I drew Grendl standing on the stairs, and Twit should be there too, but then I thought it took too much from the front attention (and tension) and I removed them again.
The whole situation happened in one of the halls in Grismina btw. (something like the capital city in our story)
I had a ref for the background.

I like the pose a lot. It does seem like a very tricky thing to draw. The expressions look very emotional and raw too and I like the background castle too. It looks very nice. Great picture.

The pose is so cool and really a killer 
The texture of the background gives it a little traditional-copic look.
Lots of love for the details and all the draped fabric on the floor
And even so near together, both look manly and not a bit gay.

I also think it's one of your best lately! The interaction and pose is very dynamic and really show the tension and struggle between the two. The details like the strain in Hawl's hands and one foot, and their expressions are just spot on.
The background is pretty and frames the scene well!
I can't write any intelligent, but the bottom line is I really love this piece and I'm so impressed by it!
