My superhero, Azure - drawn as if appearing in the DC Animated Universe. I've been experimenting with different ways to draw him lately, uber-realistic or scalled down cartoony. Interestingly I am slowly coming to the realisation that the DCAU may have the single best way to draw superheros nailed down.

For those who haven't met Azure, he is Alexander Rain, a doctor who was bonded with the ancient artifact known as 'the Blue' when a patient pushed it into his chest unexpectedly on a night shift. As Azure he's got the power to touch people and see into their recent past, a form of emotional empathy, as well as being able to draw on the jewel (which is attached to his heart) to increase strength and acrobatic prowess. He can also go into an 'Azure' state where he resembles a being made of light, but prolongued use of this state could kill him as it taxes his heart too strongly, and he has no control of himself whilst going Azure. Azure works out of London, and works closely with a police contact there.
