i love damage effects. My great idol in showing starship damage effects is the series ST: Voyager, i hope one day i will be able to produce damage effects on that level.
This was done by modifying the Requiem War model (made by me), without using any extra textures, only procedurals. Also it was entirely made in 3DS MAX R3.

Nice work. Most battle damage picture tend to have a couple of holes but otherwise unharmed, this thing looks like it's been clobbered all over.

I like the fact that even though its destroyed the ship is intact. I believe that a decent starship should be able to stand a power core breach, and stay intact. this would increase crew survival rates.

eh this isnt star trek stuff this is homeworld series related it was the first strategy game that used 3d system and it took advantage of them like those taaidani vessels they are extremely weak from top and below
