Description
Death is something humans have feared since the beginning of time. It is an unstoppable force; it has no cure and gives no notice. It affects all of nature: the earth, our landscapes, trees, animals, and of course, humanity. Death is something that we all deal with, yet so many of us see it as this coarse, undeniably cursed sentence.
There can be beauty found in death, for it often brings life. The decay of animals and plants add nutrients to the soil which replenish the earth and allow what is still living to continue.
Pain brings knowledge, for with horrible situations we find our mistakes and faults, which prepare us for the future.
Fear not death, for it is only a beginning.
I wanted to go for a combination of Salvadore Dali, Georgia O'Keefe, and Frida Khalo. I'm not sure if I achieved that, but I do like the results so that's all that matters.
GOD at the stock I used on this...
Thank you all!

If there's something on here that you think might not be covered in this, please let me know because I used so much on this I may have overlooked something.
And no, I didn't steal the feathers. That's one of my personal brushes.
I spent about a week on this... probably 30 hours or so... so people better freakin' comment.

Oh... I want to make a print of this, but I need everyone's permission.
So I guess just let them know you are giving me permission to make it a print and send the link.

=enticement asked me to tell you what to say in the e-mail. I've sent quite a few and I always put something along the lines of " I Scully7491 grant permission for *deviant's screename* to use my stock in his/her print *deviation title and URL*.
You send this e-mail to prints-permission@deviantart.com, and make sure to put a subject line or sometimes there will be an error in sending it.
Hope that helps!
